The Word for the World Bible Translators is pleased to announce that Peter Bradley has been appointed CEO of their USA operations, effective April 1, 2012.

Bradley is a seasoned executive with decades of experience with both profit and non-profit organizations. Most recently he was Executive Advisor to the American Bible Society, and served 6 years as President of the International Bible Society (now Biblica).

Peter’s for profit experience included over 20 years with McGraw-Hill Inc. in executive positions in Canada, Australia, Singapore, and their head office in New York City.
Peter and his wife Shirley have 4 children and 13 grandchildren and now reside in Austin, Texas. He is a graduate of Ryerson Institute of Technology (now Ryerson University), Toronto, Ontario Canada, and studied Non-profit Management at Milano School of Business in New York City.

Veroni Kruger, Founder and International President of The Word for the World, states that “Bradley’s appointment signals a strengthening of our operations in the USA. It will definitely also enhance our international operations.”

TWFTW just celebrated its 31st year in training nationals and consultants in the fine art of translating the Bible with care and quality for over 2,000 people groups who don’t have one word of Scripture in their heart language. “That is our mission and passion,” states Kruger.

“We cannot complete this last language campaign alone. We need like-minded and like-hearted partners from all segments of society to join us to advance our mission, and that is why we are so pleased Bradley has joined us. He will be a tremendous asset in connecting our 64 translation projects in Africa and S.E. Asia with strategic partners in the USA.”
